NUTRAVA® Citrus Fiber is comprised of soluble and insoluble fibers that provide water-holding and stability benefits at low use levels. Our unique patented peel process allows us to retain the high pectin content of the citrus peels and optimize the water-holding capacity of the fiber, which helps products maintain their good texture and nutrients.

Upcycled from citrus peels, a plentiful byproduct of the juicing industry, NUTRAVA Citrus Fiber is a great alternative for traditional gums, stabilizers, emulsifiers, and starches, as well as, egg, sugar, fat and fruits.

Proper activation is the key to unlocking NUTRAVA® Citrus Fiber’s full functionality in formulations. Activation takes place when energy, such as mixing, is put into a solution that contains the citrus fiber. Depending on the amount of energy put into the solution, different degrees of activation can be achieved.
NUTRAVA® Citrus Fiber Peak was developed to provide emulsion stability when oil and water droplets are entrapped within the fiber network. It provides stability and texture in emulsion-based foods such as condiments. It can replace starch, egg yolk, emulsifiers and other stabilizers to help you meet your clean label goals.

Fruit-Flavored Drinks: If a compound is made and then diluted, homogenization of the final beverage is key for full stability. NUTRAVA® Citrus Fiber is not for clear beverages, as the insoluble fiber will be visible.
